  • Do you raise prices on homes when a realtor is included?
    Absolutely not. Our home prices remain consistent, whether or not a realtor is involved in the sale.
  • Can realtors earn rewards for selling Build-On-Your-Lot (BOYL) homes?
    Yes! Realtors earn the same rewards for our Custom – Build on Your Land homes as they do for our community homes.
  • How do I notify SWLA Constructors that I’m involved in the sale of a home?
    Realtors must complete the Guaranteed Commission Program Form, which requires signatures from an SWLA Constructors representative, the buyer, the realtor, and the broker. The form is available on our website under the “Realtor Information” section.
  • When will I receive my commission as a realtor?
    Commissions are paid once the home is fully funded.
  • When is a home considered fully funded?
    For community homes: When the buyer closes on the home. For custom homes: At the time of the slab pour.
  • How much commission will I earn on SWLA Constructors homes?
    Your commission depends on the number of homes you sell in a calendar year (January 1–December 31): 1st Home Sold: 2.5% commission 2nd Home Sold: 2.5% commission + $1,000 bonus 3rd Home Sold: 3.5% commission 4th and Beyond: 3.5% commission on every additional home sold (Less any seller-paid concessions)
  • What happens if I sell more than three SWLA Constructors homes in one year?
    After your third home, you’ll earn a 3.5% commission on all subsequent homes sold through the end of the calendar year.
  • What if I sell a development home and a Build-On-Your-Lot home?
    Both types of sales count toward your total! Each fully funded home—whether it’s a development home or a Build-On-Your-Lot home—adds to your annual sales total.
  • How do I track my sales for the year?
    Each time a home is fully funded, it counts as one sale for the year. Be sure to track these sales by filling out the Realtor Rewards Information Form, available on our website.
  • If I sell a home in December 2024, but it closes (or the slab is poured) in January 2025, which year does it count for?
    The sale will count for 2025, as it’s based on when the home is fully funded.
